Seeing the great man live is something else again, though. His ability to improvise randomly off the back of audience comments is wonderous.

have you seen him live? mr trolly and i saw him at wembley arena - we were tucked away right at the back, but it was still great!

I certainly have, in Cariff on his last tour. A guy kept on interrupting, shouting out that he'd come along to see Iron Maiden (they'd been on the previous night). "Well, I'm all that's left of them", replied Eddie.
